  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)

In 2018, U.S. agricultural exports to Jamaica reached $482 million. The largest growth category in those exports continue to be consumer-oriented products, which reached a record level of $188 million in 2018. This represents an 8 percent increase compared to 2017. Although increased competition is expected in the near future due to Jamaica’s implementation of free trade agreements with other countries, especially the EU, there are several U.S. products with growth potential ,such as: eggs and products, dairy, beef and beef products, condiments and sauces, fruits and vegetable juices, snack foods, processed vegetables, fresh fruit, tree nuts, wine and beer.
