China: Tree Nuts Annual

  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)   |   CH2025-0198
China’s domestic production of tree nuts, notably walnuts, macadamia nuts, and hazelnuts, is growing as consumer awareness regarding the nutritional and healthy attributes of tree nuts is driving increased demand in the Chinese tree nut market. Economic headwinds and China’s tariffs on U.S. tree nuts could slow short term consumption growth; however, the Chinese tree nut market exhibits growth potential in the long run.
