China: China Announces a New Round of Tariff Exclusions

On February 18, 2020, China announced a new round of tariff exclusions for U.S. agricultural commodities impacted by the retaliatory Section 301-tariffs levied by China. While the announcement enumerates approximately 150 agricultural and agricultural-related tariff lines, eligible enterprises may apply for a tariff exclusion for any tariff line, provided that tariff line has not already received a tariff exclusion. However, tariff exclusions will be approved for individual applicants and will not automatically extend to all importers.
