Chile: First Shipment of Walnut Plants not Subject to Quarantine Arrive to Chile from California

After two years of negotiations, the Livestock and Agricultural Service (SAG) of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Animal and Plant Inspection Service (APHIS) of USDA reached an agreement on the authorization of the Micro Paradox Center (walnut nursery) located in Pleasant Grove, CA to export walnut plants to Chile will no longer be subject to two years quarantine that had been required by Resolution 2878/2004.
