In 2108 Brazil has not implemented significant changes to regulations that could affect imports of agricultural goods. However, with the election of President Jair Bolsonaro, a more liberal economic agenda is expected to be implemented. The new president plans to reduce the number of Brazilian ministries to 22, a move that will likely impact the way the federal government functions. Exporters interested in entering the Brazilian market should pay attention to regulatory changes that may occur in the near future.
