Along with the Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development, FAS works to advance U.S. policies and support the efforts of the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and World Food Programme (WFP), focusing on areas including emergency food assistance, sustainable agricultural development, and food safety standards.
