Russia: Russia Extended Food Import Ban Through End of 2018

On June 30, 2017, President Putin signed decree No. 293 extending Russia’s ban on the import of agricultural products from the countries that applied economic sanctions against Russia, including the United States, until the end of 2018. The Government issued decree No. 790 of July 4, 2017, implementing the decree of the President without any changes to the lists of covered countries or products. This report contains an unofficial English translation of the food ban as it currently stands.
