Russia: Draft Amendments to List of Controlled Goods Notified to WTO

On April 24, 2018, Russia notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of draft amendments to the Eurasian Economic Union List of Goods Subject to Veterinary Control. The draft amendments propose adding “cheese-like” products under HS codes 1901909100, 1901909900, 2106909200, 2106909804, 2106909805, and 2106909809. The public comment period for the notification will end on June 23, 2018. Interested parties are invited to share comments and/or concerns with USDA’s enquiry point (us.spsenquirypoint@fas.usda.gov) by June 13, 2018.
