Based on the export pace through the first 10 months of the year, the 2022/23 rice export estimate is reduced from 3.7 to 3.4 million tons. The 2023/24 rice export forecast is reduced to 4.8 million tons, which would be in line with domestic supply expectations and overseas demand. The 2023/24 wheat supply and demand forecasts are unchanged. While the government has not yet issued any public tenders, private importers have bought at least 300,000 tons of Russian wheat.
