  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)   |   PK2021-0014

Due to excellent conditions during harvest, which followed a good growing season, seed cotton collection has progressed well, and deliveries to ginners are far out-pacing last year. Production in 2021/22 is forecast at 5.6 million bales (480 lb/bale), a 24 percent increase compared to last year. Meanwhile, cotton yarn and cloth exports continue to be strong in 2021.
