Mexico: Mexico Publishes Draft Conformity Assessment Procedure for Cheese

On August 26, 2021, the Regulatory Improvement National Commission (CONAMER) published a draft Conformity Assessment Procedure (CAP) for the national standard NOM-223-SCFI/SAGARPA-2018, Cheese. Once finalized, the cheese CAP will provide the procedure for determining whether cheese products meet Mexican national standards. The draft is open for public comments through October 25, 2021.
