Mexico: FAIRS Export Certificate Report

The report provides current information on export certificates issued by U.S. government agencies in conformity with Mexican import standards and regulations. The report includes the following changes from last year's: Section I: Displays certificate illustrations issued under the "Further Processed Egg Products Verification Program (PEEPEV)" of the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS). Section II: Updates on certificates of origin under the United States- Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). Also, describes the process of amending or reissuing export certificates for dairy products destined for human consumption issued by the Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). Section IV: Emphasizes the importance of the inspecting official's signature on the export certificates and the corresponding letterheads from the issuing agency. Shipments with differing signatures increasingly face rejection from SENASICA officials.
