India: Tariff Hike on U.S. Agricultural Products Further Deferred to May 2

On March 29, 2019, the Government of India’s (GOI) Ministry of Finance (MOF) further deferred the implementation date from April 1, 2019, to May 2, 2019, of the proposed increase in the basic custom duty (BCD) for exports of specific U.S. agricultural products (i.e. shelled and in-shell almonds, in-shell walnuts, fresh apples, and pulses).
