India: Coffee Annual
India’s MY 2015/16 coffee crop (Oct/Sep) is forecast at 5.2 million 60 kg bags as favorable blossom showers boosted the crop yield prospects of both Arabica and Robusta. While exports in 2014/15 have been sluggish, 2015/16 exports are forecast higher at 5 million 60 kg bags. Domestic consumption shows signs of marginal improvement on a low per capita basis.
