EU-28: EFSA Launches Public Consultation on GE Risk Assessment

On Monday, May 8, 2017, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) launched a public consultation on a draft guidance document on the risk assessment of genetically engineered (GE) plant material at low levels in food and feed material that are not intended for import into the European Union. Interested parties are invited to submit comments on the draft guidance document by Tuesday, June 30, 2017.
