Taiwan, the birthplace of boba (bubble tea), is a major consumer of soft drinks, including tea, juice, coffee, and carbonated beverages. In 2024, Taiwan imported $177.5 million worth of soft drinks, of which $6.8 million came from the United States.
China’s beverage market surpassed $170 billion in 2024, reflecting a year-on-year growth rate of over six percent. The category includes non-alcoholic beverages, ranging from bottled water, juices, and carbonated drinks to tea and functional beverages.

California Natural Color participated in Fi Europe’s latest show. The company opened in 1994 and is based out of Fresno, California. The company formed under the name San Joaquin Valley Concentrates and changed their name to California Natural Color in 2018 to better reflect their business model. E. & J. Gallo Winery acquired the company in 2020.
