China: PRC Approves New Food Materials and Additives including GMM Derived Enzymes

The National Health Commission (NHC) recently approved, in two separate announcements, 68 new food materials and additives, of which 11 are enzymes derived from Genetically Modified Microorganisms (GMMs). This report provides a summary of the newly approved food materials and additives from both announcements.
