China: GE Crop Herbicide Use Rules for Registration Comments Invited

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) invited public comments on measures that provide the requirements and guidelines for herbicides used on and for genetically engineered (GE) crops. The measures include: “Documents Required for Registration of Herbicides used on Herbicide-Tolerant GE Crops,” “Guidelines for Field Trial Efficacy of Herbicides for Controlling Weeds in Herbicide-Tolerant GE Corn Fields,” and “Guidelines for Field Trial Efficacy of Herbicides for Controlling Weeds in Herbicide-Tolerant GE Soybean Fields.”
