China: China Notifies Draft Maximum Residue Limits of Pesticides in Foods as SPS 1164

On July 15, 2020, China notified 589 maximum residue limits (MRLs) on 67 pesticides in foods to the World Trade Organization SPS Committee as G/SPS/N/CHN/1164. The draft MRLs cover a range of horticultural products. The deadline for comments is September 13, 2020. China has not announced a proposed date of entry into force for the MRLs. Comments can be submitted to China’s SPS Enquiry Point at sps@customs.gov.cn. This report contains an unofficial translation of the draft MRLs.
