Canada: U.S. High-Value Exports Reach Highest Level Since 2016

Despite COVID-19 challenges, Canada remained a leading destination for U.S. agricultural exports in 2020, with high-value food and beverage exports to Canada reaching $17 billion. Pet food and tree nut exports were among the categories that set new record highs in 2020. Reflecting the diversity of trade with Canada, U.S. exports to Canada exceeded $100 million in 43 different categories, led by prepared foods, fresh fruits, and fresh vegetables.
