U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Foreign Agricultural Service Administrator Daniel Whitley arrived in Casablanca today to begin a USDA-sponsored agribusiness trade mission. Whitley is leading a delegation of nearly 50 U.S. agribusinesses and trade groups and 14 state departments of agriculture to expand U.S. farm and food exports to Morocco and other West African markets.
Representatives from nearly 50 U.S. agribusinesses and trade groups and 14 state departments of agriculture will travel to Casablanca, Morocco, Dec. 2-5, as part of a U.S. Department of Agriculture trade mission to expand U.S. farm and food exports to Morocco and other West African markets.
From September 9-13, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service held a multi-city Agribusiness Trade Mission (ATM) in Vietnam. Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis M. Taylor led one of the largest USDA trade missions, which included representatives from 33 U.S. businesses, 9 State Departments of Agriculture, and 23 USDA cooperators.

Private exporters reported the following sales activity for MY 2024/2025: 132,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to China and 100,000 MT of soybean cake and meal for delivery to Colombia.

Private exporters reported the following sales activity: 132,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to China during MY 2024/2025, 100,000 MT of soybean cake and meal to Colombia - 12,000 MT for delivery in MY 2023/2024 and 88,000 MT for delivery in MY 2024/2025, and 212,000 MT of soybeans received in the reporting period for delivery to unknown destinations - 50,000 MT for delivery in MY 2023/2024 and 162,000 MT for delivery in MY 2024/2025.
