Representatives from nearly 50 U.S. agribusinesses and trade groups and 14 state departments of agriculture will travel to Casablanca, Morocco, Dec. 2-5, as part of a U.S. Department of Agriculture trade mission to expand U.S. farm and food exports to Morocco and other West African markets.

Private exporters reported the following sales activities for MY 2024/2025: 30,000 MT of soybean oil for delivery to India, 261,264 MT of soybeans for delivery to Mexico, 135,000 MT of soybean cake and meal for delivery to the Philippines.

Private exporters report sales to China, India, Mexico, and unknown destinations.

U.S. Department of Agriculture Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis M. Taylor arrived in New Delhi today to launch a USDA-sponsored agribusiness trade mission.

For many American farms, the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. The Robison and Stennes family orchards combined equal more than 200 years of growing apples in Washington. Both family farms view the recent trade win of India reopening its market to U.S. apples as beneficial for apple farmers across Washington.

Under Secretary Alexis Taylor will lead a USDA trade mission to New Delhi, India, April 22-25, accompanied by representatives from 47 businesses and organizations and 11 state departments of agriculture.

For almost 50 years, Bangladesh required U.S. cotton be fumigated because of concerns about the boll weevil. Collaboration between USDA agencies and the Bangladesh Ministry of Agriculture resulted in amended import requirements, exempting the United States from the list of countries required to fumigate cotton upon arrival.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis Taylor will lead the agribusiness trade mission to New Delhi, India, from April 22-25, 2024. USDA is now accepting applications from U.S. exporters who wish to join this delegation.

Secretary Vilsack announced next steps in USDA's efforts to bolster U.S. agricultural trade, including the planned trade missions for 2024 and the opening of a public comment period for the new Regional Agricultural Promotion Program.

Leaders from three state agriculture departments and 29 U.S. agribusinesses and organizations will accompany U.S. Department of Agriculture Under Secretary Alexis M. Taylor on a trade mission to Southeast Asia October 30 – November 3 to expand export opportunities for U.S. food and farm products to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the world’s fourth-largest market.

Private exporters reported sales of 352,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to Pakistan - 55,000 MT for delivery during MY 2021/2022 and 297,000 MT for delivery during MY 2022/2023.
