Fi Asia is a USDA-endorsed regional trade show that brings together food ingredient manufacturers from many countries. The annual event serves as a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and exploring new business opportunities.

Representatives from nearly 50 U.S. agribusinesses and trade groups and 14 state departments of agriculture will travel to Casablanca, Morocco, Dec. 2-5, as part of a U.S. Department of Agriculture trade mission to expand U.S. farm and food exports to Morocco and other West African markets.

Private exporters reported the following sales activities for MY 2024/2025: 30,000 MT of soybean oil for delivery to India, 261,264 MT of soybeans for delivery to Mexico, 135,000 MT of soybean cake and meal for delivery to the Philippines.

Under Secretary Alexis Taylor will lead a USDA trade mission to Casablanca, Morocco, Dec. 2-5, 2024. Current and potential U.S. exporters interested in participating should apply for consideration by Aug. 28.

Leaders from three state agriculture departments and 29 U.S. agribusinesses and organizations will accompany U.S. Department of Agriculture Under Secretary Alexis M. Taylor on a trade mission to Southeast Asia October 30 – November 3 to expand export opportunities for U.S. food and farm products to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the world’s fourth-largest market.

Agriculture Secretary Vilsack today announced the United States is investing $455 million to strengthen global food security and international capacity-building efforts.

Deputy Secretary Jewel Bronaugh traveled to Bali Sept. 27-29 to attend the G20 Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting, making the case for joint action on food security, climate, agricultural innovation, sustainable productivity growth, and closer global integration through trade.
