A U.S. agribusiness delegation arrived in Santiago, Chile, today, led by USDA Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis Taylor.

Fourteen U.S. companies will join the U.S. Department of Agriculture agribusiness trade mission to Santiago, Chile, led by the Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Alexis M. Taylor, Sept. 25-29.

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, co-host for the Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate Summit, today announced during the Summit’s opening plenary that AIM for Climate partners from around the globe are increasing investment in, and support for, climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation.

Private exporters reported the following activity: 132,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to China during MY 2022/2023 and 120,000 MT of hard red winter wheat for delivery to Nigeria - 60,000 MT is for delivery during MY 2021/2022 and 60,000 MT is for delivery during MY 2022/2023.
