Private exporters reported sales of 165,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to Spain during MY 2022/2023.

May is World Trade Month, and USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service is marking the occasion by sharing some of the most recent facts and figures about U.S. agricultural trade.

The American agricultural sector posted its best export year ever in 2022 with international sales of U.S. farm and food products reaching $196 billion.

Private exporters reported the following sales activity for MY 2022/2023: 126,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to China and 198,000 metric tons of soybeans for delivery to Spain.

Private exporters reported the following sales activity for the 2022/2023 marketing year: 132,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to China; 105,000 MT of corn for delivery to Italy; and 120,000 MT of corn for delivery to unknown destinations.
