Vietnam: Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards Export Certificate Report

This report provides an overview of Vietnam’s certification requirements for imported food and agricultural products. In the first six months of 2022, Vietnam made no changes to its certification requirements. Updates are made in Section 3.1 - Export Certificate for Meat, Poultry and Animal Products as the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) implemented a new PHIS Export Certificate process. There are also updates in Section 3.3 – Export Certificate for Seafood as the National and Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) updated its aquatic animal health certification statements.
