United Arab Emirates: UAE Announces Formulation of National Codex Committee

To better communicate and respond to issues raised by the International Codex Alimentarius Commission (Codex), the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the establishment of the National Codex Committee (UAENCC), headed by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADFSA). The Emirates Standardization and Metrology Authority (ESMA) will remain the UAE’s National Focal Point at Codex.
