Thailand: Grain and Feed Annual

  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)

MY2019/20 rice and corn production is forecast to increase to record levels due to expanded acreage driven by attractive prices. Rice and corn consumption is expected to increase by 1 to 3 percent, reflecting limited growth for feed demand. MY2019/20 wheat imports will likely increase to 3.2 million metric tons, up 2 percent from MY2018/19, of which 2 million metric tons will be feed wheat.
