Taiwan: Taiwan completes 95 percent of 2018 U.S. Rice Country Specific Quota

On January 4, Taiwan awarded 3,000 tons of medium/short grain rice to a U.S. bidder under Tender GF4-107-662. Post expects the Council of Agriculture (COA) to hold a global tender for the remaining 3,134 tons on January 16, 2019. Taiwan has now completed 95 percent of the U.S. 2018 CSQ.
