This report provides information on Serbian regulations and standards concerning food, agriculture, agricultural products and foreign trade. It includes information on labeling, packaging, food additives and import procedures. In 2017, Serbia adopted one new law, the Amendments to the Law of Agriculture Land and approximately 84 by-laws that include different rulebooks and ordinances. This report contains updates on the Serbian accession to the European Union (EU), specifically in the area of agriculture and rural development that includes Chapter 11, 12 and 13 of the EU acquis (set of laws, regulations and standards). Report also contains update on the accreditation of the Payment Agency as a pre-condition for use of European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance in Rural Development (IPARD) Funds. The contact lists, including relevant government agencies, have also been updated.

Senegal: Grain and Feed Annual

Governments’ support for inputs and rice production have lifted area harvested and yields, boosting production across much of the region. Marketing year (MY) 2024/25 area harvested for rice in Senegal, Guinea, Burkina Faso, and Mali is projected up 1.7 percent year-over-year.
