Senegal: Decree 89-543 - Food Safety of Meat and Meat Products

On May 5, 1989, the Government of Senegal passed Decree 89-543; this decree is still in effect and provides food safety regulations for meat and meat products, including ante and post mortem inspection, slaughter, and storage. Decree 89-543 supplements Senegal’s food safety law, Food Law 66-48 (signed in May, 1966). This report contains the original text in French.
