Serbia’s marketing year (MY) 2016/17 wheat crop was the largest in over twenty years at an estimated three million metric tons (MMT), compared to 2.6 million last year.
Given the uncertainty over the latest drought’s impact in certain parts of the country, production estimates for corn, sorghum, and millet for MY17/18 (Oct-Sep) are being held steady.
