Overall Romanian oilseed production is forecast to surge by 4.6 percent in MY 2017/18 mainly due to an increase in area and to a lesser extent to yield improvement. Ample oilseed supply will exceed domestic needs allowing for an increase of four percent in exports. This report does not reflect the potential effects of the unusual weather conditions during the second half of April on crops.
