While all fish and seafood products from the U.S. were promoted, special focus was given to Alaska Salmon and Alaska Cod. The targeted audience included 120 key importers and distributors from the Polish market and the Polish Vice Chief Veterinary Officer accompanied by 25 border and regional veterinary inspectors. The Polish market is developing dynamically and offers strong sales opportunities for U.S. fish and seafood products, especially salmon and cod. In 2015 the value of imports of fish and seafood products from the U.S. amounted to almost U.S. $59 million and was 18 percent higher than in 2014.
