Oman: Oman Waives Mandatory Arabic Labeling on Food Products

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) in the Sultanate of Oman will temporarily suspend the Arabic labeling requirement for imported food products. The Ministry’s circular, officially confirms any imported food product with English label or any other language will be permitted into Oman effective April 5, 2020 until further notice. Oman’s technical standards and regulations related to health and safety remain in place and are required for importation of food products.
