Kazakhstan: : Kazakhstan Implements COVID-Related Export Restrictions for Staples

Citing concerns related to the state of emergency during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Kazakhstan has implemented restrictions of certain food products deemed strategic. Of particular note, Kazakhstan has established a monthly export quota of 200,000 metric tons (MT) for wheat grain and 70,000 MT of wheat flour.
