Japan: Japan Notifies WTO of Revised Pyribencarb Residue Standards

On May 10, 2019, Japan notified the World Trade Organization of amendments to the maximum residue levels (MRL) for the agricultural chemical, Pyribencarb, via G/SPS/N/JPN/640. Japan implemented this new standard on February 7, 2019. There will be no public comment period established for this proposal as this proposal relaxes the regulation. However, interested U.S. parties are welcomed to share their comments and/or concerns with USDA’s enquiry point (us.spsenquirypoint@fas.usda.gov).
