Japan: Japan Notifies WTO of Revised Fluxametamide Residue Standards

On March 27, 2019, Japan notified the World Trade Organization of draft amendments to the maximum residue levels (MRL) for the agricultural chemical, Fluxametamide, via G/SPS/N/JPN/628. Japan adopted these new MRLs on January 22, 2019. There will be no public comment period established for this proposal as this proposal relaxes the regulation. However, interested U.S. parties are welcomed to share their comments and/or concerns with USDA’s enquiry point (us.spsenquirypoint@fas.usda.gov).
