Japan: Japan Notifies WTO of an Exemption of Glyceryl Caprylate

On March 27, 2019, Japan notified the World Trade Organization of the addition of Glyceryl Caprylate to the list of exempted substances via G/SPS/N/JPN/627. Japan adopted this revision on January 22, 2019. There will be no public comment period established for this proposal as this proposal relaxes the regulation. However, interested U.S. parties are welcomed to share their comments and/or concerns with USDA’s enquiry point (us.spsenquirypoint@fas.usda.gov).
