Japan: Dairy Certificate Updated to Satisfy New Food Safety Law

Beginning March 1, 2020, USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service will endorse a new version of the veterinary certificate for dairy products exported to Japan. The certificate has been updated to satisfy a new requirement under Japan’s Food Sanitation Law which will enter into force on June 1, 2020. Japanese authorities will accept both the previous and new versions of the certificate until May 31, 2020.
