India: India's FSSAI Notifies Final Standards for Fortified Milk Powder and Iodine

On September 2, 2021, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare/Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) notified the Food Safety and Standards (Fortification of Foods) First Amendment Regulations (2021). The amendment regulations relate to both new and revised standards for fortified food products. The implementation date for the amendments is set for March 1, 2022.
