India: FSSAI Extends Implementation Date for Trans-Fat Limits in Processed Food Products

The Government of India’s Food Safety and Standards Authority of India published a directive that extends its implementation date for trans-fat limits in processed food products. The new implementation dates for trans-fat limits of three percent by weight, and not more than two percent are April 1, 2021 and January 1, 2022, respectively.
