European Union: Fresh Deciduous Fruit

This report provides EU-28 production, supply, and demand forecasts for fresh apples, fresh pears, table grapes and concentrated apple juice. After a poor fresh deciduous fruit crop in the previous marketing year, a rebound in production is expected for 2013/14. Commercial apple production is forecast at 10.2 million metric tons (MMT) (up 2.6 percent), commercial pear production at 2.3 MMT (up 18.6 percent) and table grape production at 2.0 MMT (up 13.1 percent).
