Ethiopia: Ethiopia Issues a New Tender to Buy 400,000 Metric Tons of Wheat

The GOE has issued an international competitive tender to buy 400,000 metric tons of milling wheat. Bids are due on April 19, 2019. Delivery of the contracted wheat could begin by June/July. In early January 2019, Ethiopia tendered the same quantity of milling wheat and awarded the entire contract to a grain supplier at $270 per metric ton.
