Presidential Decree No. 419/2018 amends some customs tariff categories previously listed in Presidential Decree No. 184/2013. The amendments published in the official gazette on September 9, 2018, came into effect on 12 September. The new law seeks to conform Egypt’s customs nomenclature to the harmonized system (HS).
