Colombia: SaborUSA Promotes U.S. Beef Sales in Colombia

SaborUSA is a non-traditional marketing project that uses television promotions, an interactive website, a smartphone application and social media to promote U.S. food and beverages in Colombia. SaborUSA worked very closely with the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) to create U.S. Beef Month for June. This campaign promoted U.S. beef through social media, television promotions and our website, highlighting Certified Angus Beef in the Colombian market. With the help of U.S. Beef Month, U.S. Certified Angus Beef sales grew 52 percent in Colombia in June 2017 compared to the same time period in 2016.
